Over Packing?

October 4, 2010 by Dynomutt   Comments (4)

I have no interest in joining a pack, I think they are unneccissary. I believe that packs encourage territorial behavior (which I know I, myself, already have problems with, but I don't want to speak for all Garou). If there are packs, there is a chance for pack fights. Territory, authority, or even personal reasons all come into play. Also, there is the threat of in-pack fighting, which would be detremental to the community. I say we should not bother alligning ourselves into... Read full post

Class is in Session

Well the new semester has gotten off to a great start; my new major is wonderful and I love my possition as a student staff member. However, my classes are very "human oriented" (we discuss leisure, and park programming, and other such things). I am always so very tempted to give the Garou perspective, but I am not ready to put myself in that position yet. However, the residents I am in charge of inherintly respect me because of "the wolf". I'm realizing more and more that I don't want to have... Read full post

Free Running

There's nothing I love more than running under a full moon. A great way to really burn off that Garou energy is to m-shift, then do some Free Running (also known as Parkour). Jumping over fences, running up walls, using the world as my play ground! It's especially fun on my college's campus where the buildings are designed with lots of walls, stairs, and ledges. I usually do some basic stuff during the day - I'll jump off a ledge rather than take the stairs, etc. - but it becomes something... Read full post

Let Me Be Clear

My last blog post may have caused some confusion. It's not that I don't think humans should want to be were's, I just think it needs to be for the right reason. It's a decision that needs to be made after careful thought and research. Don't just do it willy-nilly. I support humans in their decisions if they are making an honest, true, committed choice. I myself would never bite someone (though I may teach other practices of getting in touch with ones inner wolf), but there's no way I can deny... Read full post

I'm Sick of This!

I'm sick of going on forums and seeng junk like "OMG I wanna be a werwolf! can someone bite me so I can be like youuu?!?!?!" NO! Being a werewolf isn't something "cool" or "fashionable". Don't do it on a whim. It's a life that you shouldn't wish upon yourself just because you like Twilight (I don't think I've ever hated anything more than Twilight). Being a lycan is nothing like it's portrayed in the media. It's something that changes your entire life. Anyone who woshes it upon themselves need... Read full post

Mooning Over the Moon?

August 4, 2010 by Dynomutt   Comments (8)

Many werewolves claim to be able to change at will, which goes against the common tradition of the full moon transformation. If i tried, I could probably transform at will, but I don't want to. I have a hard enough time keeping my anger in check, I don't need a snarling wolf to hold back too. I did that for years before I accepted what I was, and still have to do it sometimes today. I'm certainly not forced to transform at the full moon, but I am compelled to do so. After years of... Read full post

Can Werewolves Ever <3 Vampires?

August 3, 2010 by Dynomutt   Comments (17)

I know that a lot of people think that werewolves and vampires will forever be enemies, and that some are trying to put the past behind. I dated a vampire not to long ago and, on paper, things were great. We shared the same interests and were very compatable. But, deep down, there was just something that got under my skin. Something about her drove me nuts and I couldn't stand being with her. Recently I realized it was because she was a vampire. We remain friends to this day, but there is no... Read full post
