I have a few tips on how to adjust your profile.
 
If you click on you avatar in the top left corner, then over on the right it will say "edit profile," you can add widgets from the widget gallery to your page.
 
Grab the widget by the top right corner, where it has the crossed arrows, this is the only way to movie the widget. Then put the widget in the column you want, Left, middle, or right.
 
THe "wire posts" are similar to twitter posts, and in fact if you isert your twitter id you can have the "wire" post to your twitter account. The Wire is just updates of your activity. Basically whatever you want to say to the world.
 
From the "dashboard" you can post to "the wire."
 
"Tools is where you can make blog posts, and add and subtract friends.
 
Just some quick tips to help get started.
