I know I’m probably gonna get a lot of hate for this but I feel I must say it. As a fellow were I know the feeling of being unaccepted by this world sometimes and I know it hurts but I do not think this will get us freedom, happiness, or stop the heartache.  I love it on here, I love being able to relate and talk to fellow weres cause this is a place where we are accepted. It’s not as if I don’t want freedom and happiness and all the things you think this will get us, I do, but I just don’t think that doing this can get it for us. 146 years ago America had the nerve to say people were not equal to other people and in some cases say they were not even human because of their skin color. Now I admit we’ve come a very long way from slavery and all that but do you rly think we’ve come long enough to a point to accept us? What they will do to us mental weres is probably slap a medical disease on are head and call us crazy, make us go through different therapies till we aren’t sure what’s true anymore. And if something like that were to happen I would rather be hidden then confused on who I am. And maybe you’ll say they couldn’t do that to me, but how do you know? And maybe you’re right and no matter what they say or do you’ll stick firmly to your belief, well then what, are they going to through you in a crazy house? The real reason I fear this is for p-shifting weres, my heart diffidently in defense of the ones in my pack. Think about it, for weres like them they could be considered dangerous, labeled not even human.  What would happen to them, would they be killed because fear they are too dangerous? Or tested on trying to find out the secrets behind them? They wouldn’t be free at all. I am truly sry if I have angered or upset any of you, but I thought I had to say this because I care about all you weres out there, I care about my pack, and I care about this world, and I dnt know if any of those things can take something like this right now. Plz just be careful in what you’re doing and if you decide to go on and do this anyway please to not let it lead back to werecon for that could lead to people that could get in huge trouble because of this.  I thank you all for your time.

I appreshiate your comment christenblood and i respect your opinion and fear and will not appose it in any way. I have too felt this fear, the fear that if we were to revele ourselves, people would lable us, cast us out, or even hunt us. But dont we live with these cruel aspects of human nature everyday?? We are the few that know what its like to be alone, to be used, discarded...and we are used to it.
Dont worry, i will do my best to keep werecon a secret.

I thank you for that. Yes sadly as weres we do feel this, and we're all looking for freedom and exeptance. I feel it when I'm with my pack, not hiding anything, just enjoying life. I know we all want to find it, but idk if the worl knowing will offer us that feeling. Maybe we just have to find where we belong in thsi world.

This world is a world of change. When there is nothing else left there will be us. Bloggers, hackers, kids, freaks. We could spread the truth on other web sites and even hang up signs in naborhoods. If this dose get the attention of the media, they will most likely interprite it as kids trying to make a name for themselves. If it is seen by the casual oberver, then they will probilly right it off as a joke. But, there are always that small persentage of people that get the message.....we are here, we are waiting.

Maybe instead of trying to push it out on the whole world we just start to change our world. Start with just the cicle of ppl around you, make friends, find ppl you trust, bring them in one the truth. Just start simple letting in the ppl around you, so it's also safer, then let it naturally grow bigger as the faith of the people do. If we just throw the idea of there we are much more likely to get in trouble with it.

i have know betrale and hate for too long if we get hunted then i say we fight if we get exposed i say it on our own terms not the media besides i think raze has a good head on his shoulders and knows what he is talkin about like my god its not that hard to figure out that ppl hate our kind even fear it but i say we use it to our advantage i mean ppl think of use weres and monsters but if we sho them that we are just like them just with a speacial gift they may except us faster than if we force it on them so in a way you all are right.

Selfashly? I am trying to help our community nephilima. And belive me i understand your fear, but they already know about us. Fox news did interveiws on several "teen-wolves" and they seemed to find it cute. Besides, we cant hide forever. The world is becomeing a increasingly smaller place....the blank edges of the map beginging to be filled in, the great earths secrets becoming discovered and cast aside or taken advantage of every day. We will be next. The question or rather the delema is whether or not we want the first enounter to be violent or do we want it to be suttle and just under the rug. I am putting my vote for the lattar and im sure you would too.
Besides, if we begin by posting blogs on other web sites then perhaps more lycantropes will notice and join the community and feel safe. And perhaps the humans will learn who and what we really are by defult. That is what i am trying to do. I am trying to find other lycantropes who are lost while at the same time teaching humans about us. Werewolves are considered unrealistic by many humans, so if they find a blog we posted or a comment, then the ones that dont want to learn will cast it off as kids trying to fit in, the ones that do want to learn will seek us, and eventually find us, and we will teach them, perhaps even makeing more lycantrope supporters in the process.

Raze i dnt think the term 'it to be suttle and just under the rug' can even work with us, though i wish it could. Maybe for m-shifting weres they could learn to accept but even then they would probably write us off crazy and shove us under the rug of a mentle house. But what about the p-shifting weres. People attack what they fear and dnt understand, they would be considered weapons. Those who didn't want to kill them may want to use them for their own avantages in war or other aspects. I am all for finding other weres and helping bring them to ppl that are like and to where they are exepted, and even bring understanding humans into r world, but i dnt like the method that u want to do it. Just throwing the idea out like that your not including the group of ppl that might see it and believe and hate us, the ones that could hurt or kill us. Maybe we should start expanding our world but lets do it in a way that we are protecting our kind too.

I have to say I'm slightly disturbed by this proposition. And to Kitty Waver... isn't it the nature of the wolf to hide in the shadows, and stay loyal to none but their own? How does wishing to stand up for the members of our pack, who by the way CAN'T hide who they are because they HAVE to transform on the moon and they have to stay in cellars and attics so they don't harm those surrounding them because they can loose themselves in the wolf which poses a threat because people can monitor them, how is trying to protect them and staying in the shadows observing those around us make us unworthy of being a lycan? When was the last time you saw a natural wolf gallaphanting through the streets? I would go as far to say never. Because if they had they would be treated as a threat and supressed by means of death, caging, or relocating. We can learn much from this analogy. It is the history of humans to supress what they believe to be a threat to them. As peaceful as we might pose, I can see a future of us pronouncing ourselves riddled with mental prescriptions, relocating to reserves, jail for those that are insubordinate to the will of man, and death at the hands of the radicals who will go to drastic measures to 'protect' their view of the world. I can tell you, Kitty Waver, and Raze are proud of who you are, and frustrated at the fact you see these great gifts and these great people hidden, where they could help many. I too have felt this frustration, but I've quieted it for sake of my pack. 
Humans attack themselves be it through racial judgments, culture judgments, foreign ideas, and so on and so forth. My legitimate question for all those reading this is, if humans can't accept each other... what make's you believe they will accept us? I would love to be proved wrong...

What makes me belive?? Nothing. I have accepted the fact that the survival of our kind has been on borrwed time. They have found us in the past and yes they did react in a manner that has led to our current fear. But this is a new age, a new century. People everywhere are standing up for what they feel is right so why not us?? Why must we constantly hide and fear the entities that walk among us?? Besides, my point is not to throw our existance out in the open, my point is to place suddle messages around the web and even in the real world so that others may find us and know that they are not alone. So that they will know that we are here, we are waiting.
I belive that if we just tried to come out of the dark, then maybe we can finally have some closer to our lives problems.
Besides, dont you think that if the humans were to accedentally stumble appon us, then it would cause much more painc than if we were to come willingly?? Think about it.

Raze you are right it is a new century a new age, but we must realize it's just liek a birthday on ur birstday u rly havn't aged a year bu just a day. The new years came and we didn't jump all the way into a new year just one day went by. But yes maybe we should get this started in a suddle way, but why start with the web? we want a more understanding world maybe start affecting the acual peopel near us, find the trustable ones tell them. You want to feel free an expected Raze then start expanding the world of the ppl around you to exept you, surround urself with ppl who r ok with it and let it slowly grow.

I apologize for agitating you, I'm quite argumentative. 
You made the point that we are hiding in fear of humans. Is that what we;re really doing? Fearing? Hiding? I have no doubt that humans can harm us, as I have no doubt other lycans can harm us, but I myself do not fear humans. I agree that if we were to reveal ourselves it would need to be in an upmost subtle manner (And Sarah it's subtle. :P Spelling nazi for the win), but honestly I don't have too hard of a time coexisting with humans. And I don't have too hard of a time hiding. Maybe I'm a coward. Maybe it's because I'm a mutt. But I find my human friends to be amazing even though they can piss me off to no avail. So my first point is that, do we really fear humans, and how harmful is it to most of us to hide? Like I said, my feelings may be a result of my mixing.
Secondly, If I learned anything from mythology and other archetypes, it's that humans will go to any measure, any length, to make any new discovery they make fit into their little puzzle of reality. I think it's almost impossible for the human race to stumble up this info. I bet you plenty of humans have found this site and have laughed at our reason. In fact I came across this site from an email in which my human friend was mocking the people  on here. If we just come out and post things on the internet we will be considered lunatics... haha. Irony. My point is we need credibility and careful planning if we are to start exposing ourselves and emerging from our covers. 
And Kitty Waver, you have a good point. Not everyone should know the truth, for some will turn out to be radicals intent on killing our race. We should almost 'initiate' humans into the truth. This sounds a lot like religion but hopefully you get my point.
I have an awful feeling this is hard to follow but so is my thought process lol.

I am sorry for your tragic experience chainedwolf....truely sorry. But, this is why we must make some sort of stand. Were it not for the fear and the shame and the misunderstanding, we would be able to live free amung humans without that mutal fear. If we can take away that fear, then the monster just might become an angle, if you get my meaning.

all i have to say is i thinkk we should make ourseleves visible to our kind first the were comunity is only connected by this site and people barely go on it we need to unite to reveal our secret to the humans together but i think we need to make ourselves seen to eachother first you know then we can progress further from there .......food for thought.

not yet im almost there i can feel me tryin to break thru the changes are happening randomly and slowly but its not enough i just needed some help from someone to tell me some info on how exactly to trigger it and keep it going and what not but idk any werewolves that can help the only one i knew well.. u know the story , it was our dream when she was still alive it was our dream to b free togeter to shift and run free next to eachother u know and for years we tried but then when they took her away i was left alone to do it so no matter what i have to do nomatter were no matter how i have to p-shift i have to do it for her for me i cant let her death be in vain i know if she was here with me today she would be happy to see im tryin and i will succeed if its the only thing i do for the rest of my life i have to fufil her and my dream i have to keep pushing thats all i learned to care about thats all ive learned to know and love   are you a p-shifter?
